Why Your Browser Matters - Under Construction
Browser Update Home

The following table illustrates browser user market share including the use of current and legacy versions of the respective browser. Current includes the current version offered by the browser vendor and may also include the most recent version, providing the version is supported with automatic security updates from the vendor.  For example, for Internet Explorer, "current" includes both Internet Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 9. Legacy refers to prior versions and those that are no-longer supported.

The following information is provided for informational purposes only and is subject to change without notice.  While the data provided is considered representative of users worldwide, OTA recommends sites analyze their specific usage statistics including pages viewed and time spent online to best determine use and edge cases.  Sites with highly engaged banking and or e-commerce users may find significantly higher levels of current browser usage than as outlined below.   Based on preliminary data, some sites are reporting use of outdated browsers to be less than 25%.

Note: The terms Current and Legacy are not intended to be used in consumer communications, and have been provided to help quantify the number of users with outdated and legacy browsers.
